Illusive Illusion

Here I land on a sandful beach,
Take on the steps feeling the water beneath.
Serene yet fervent waves pulling my immersed feet,
Wanting me to soak myself in the ecstatic treat.

I choose to stand still and feel at ease,
Cold water and wishful air drenched me all pleased.
But the ambience changed and the light begun to diminish,
As I opened my eyes the reality was unleashed.

I was actually stranded on a crowded road,
Accompanied by a cheery mask to unburden my load.
Am i living in an illusion? Yes! May be,
Moving loud and clear but faking the numb inside of me…
